Introducing The Reflective Circle’s August Theme

To be or to have… that’s the real question.
Let’s think about a simple object—a mug. A mug must be a mug before it can hold your coffee. Now imagine you’re daydreaming: “When I have this beautiful mug, I’ll finally enjoy my morning coffee like a calm, elegant person.” But the truth is, you can only have the mug because it already is a mug. Its identity comes first.
And just like the mug, your identity comes before your results.
Most of us are taught to chase life the other way around:
When I have the promotion, I’ll finally be confident.
When I have more money, I’ll finally feel secure.
When I have more time, I’ll finally start writing my book.
But that model—Have → Do → Be—is broken. It keeps us waiting. It puts our power in the hands of external conditions. And it delays the very transformation we long for.
The truth is:
You need to be the version of you who creates the outcome you desire.
If you want to lead, be a leader now.
Think like one.
Decide like one.
Speak like one.
Act like one.
The truth is:
You need to be the version of you who creates the outcome you desire.
We’ve all met people who hold powerful titles yet lack leadership energy—and make everyone’s life a living hell. Because being isn’t given by title; it’s shaped by identity, presence, and intentionality.
Whatever feels hard to manifest right now is not because you’re unworthy or unlucky. It’s because the identity you’re embodying today is not aligned with the result you’re asking for. You’re not yet thinking, acting, or believing from the version of you who already has it.
That’s where our August journaling theme comes in.
This month inside The Reflective Circle, we’re shifting the entire way we think about goals.
Forget the old checklist approach. This is about identity goals—who you need to become to create the results you desire.
We’ll dive into the Be → Do → Have model and bring it to life through reflective prompts, powerful visualization, and intentional journaling. We’ll create a detailed portrait of your “future self,” map out the tiny habits she lives by, and start taking action from her mindset—not someday, but now.
✨ August Journaling Prompts: Becoming Her
- If I already had the outcome I desire, who would I be?
Describe her in vivid detail—how she thinks, speaks, walks into a room, makes decisions, spends her time, dresses, rests. - What are 3 qualities this version of me embodies that I haven’t fully stepped into yet?
Why do these matter? How can I start practicing them today, in small ways? - What are the tiniest habits or rituals that future-me lives by without even thinking about them?
Which one can I commit to this week to start aligning with her identity?
You don’t harvest fruits before you plant seeds.
This month, we go to the roots.
We water the being.
And we watch her bloom.
With my fierce love,
Salima
