The Wealth Edit: A Money Mindset Magazine for Women

Today I’m sharing something I’ve been working on for months. It’s called The Wealth Edit, a money mindset magazine for women, and Issue 01 is finally here.

For ten years, I lived on autopilot. Work, pay the bills, repeat. And then one morning I woke up with a thought I couldn’t shake: I need another life.

This magazine is what came out of that thought.

I’ve always loved magazines. The feeling of turning a page and finding a story you didn’t know you needed. But when I looked for a magazine about money that felt like it was written for women like me, curious, ambitious, still figuring it out, I couldn’t find one.

So I made it: a money mindset magazine for women who are ready to think differently.

Why I Created a Money Mindset Magazine

The Wealth Edit isn’t written by an expert who has it all figured out. I’m a contributor, not a guru. I’m learning in public, and I’m inviting you to learn with me.

For years, I thought money was a math problem. Earn more, spend less, save the rest. But the more I learned, the more I realized that most of our money decisions don’t start in our bank accounts. They start with our beliefs: what we think we deserve, what we’re afraid of, what we were taught to want. That’s why I wanted a money mindset magazine for women that mixes real-world wealth stories with the inner work. You can’t build something on the outside that you haven’t made room for on the inside.

I also wanted it to feel like a real magazine. Something you look forward to, curl up with and come back to. Not a lecture, not a course, but a conversation between women who are choosing to think differently about money.

What’s Inside The Wealth Edit Issue 01

We open with Her Take, on Emma Grede, the woman behind Good American and SKIMS. Her message is simple: you’re allowed to want to be rich. Most of us were taught to want stability, to want enough. Wanting more came with a quiet suggestion that we were being greedy. This piece is about giving yourself permission.

Then there’s Ancient Wisdom: A Smart Rabbit Has Three Holes. A 2,000-year-old proverb about real security, and why one income stream is a risky place to live.

This next one is my favorite piece in the whole issue: Glimpses of Wealth, the story of the castle that became a money machine. It’s about abundance that starts with imagination.

In The Wealth Experiment, you’ll meet Jono, who runs a laundrette in Melbourne. It’s a reminder that wealth doesn’t always wear designer clothes. Sometimes it wears an apron.

Then there’s The Fear Tax. This one might sting a little. Fear never sends you a bill, but it costs you every time you wait, hesitate or play small. The most expensive financial decisions are sometimes the ones you never make.

There’s The She-EO Playbook with Olamide Olowe: know your numbers, hire your weaknesses.

And a whole section called The Inner Work, on mindset, awareness, clarity and giving your desires a place to go. Because the inner work is the financial work.

And of course, Books & Becoming, plus The Wealth Edit Shelf: what I’m reading, studying and listening to right now.

It all ends with one question; the same one I ask myself every day: are you willing? Willing to take action, to change your habits, to become the woman capable of building the life you keep imagining?

Who The Wealth Edit Is For

This money mindset magazine for women is for the woman who has done everything “right” and still feels like something is missing. For the woman who wants more but has been made to feel guilty for wanting it. For the woman who is ready to stop waiting and start building, even if she doesn’t have it all figured out yet.

You don’t need to be an expert in money to read it. You just need to be curious, and willing.

What’s Coming Next

The Wealth Edit will be published four times a year. Issue 02 is already in the works, and its theme is EDUCATED: not formal schooling, but the mindset and foundation we build for ourselves.

How to Get Your Copy

The Wealth Edit, Issue 01, the money mindset magazine for women I’ve poured my heart into, is available now as an instant PDF download in my Etsy shop.

It’s 120 pages, and you can read it on your phone, tablet or laptop, or print it at home. For launch week, it’s 25% off.

If you grab a copy, come back and tell me in the comments which story stayed with you.

Because an unexamined life costs too much. I’ll see you in the next post.

In the meantime, here is a journal prompt for you to reflect on:

“Where in your life are you still living on autopilot, and what would saying yes to yourself look like this week?”

With all my love,

Salima
